Joystiq today learned from Lords of Shadow producer Dave Cox that the music in the game is being composed by one Oscar Araujo. No, not the footy player for the Monarchs… this one’s a composer. While my initial reaction at the game’s unveiling that the music was clearly not being done by Michiru Yamane, I quickly settled down. I mean, it’s not like she invented Castlevania‘s music, she’s just most often associated with it. Cox points out that she’s no longer with Konami, anyway.
“Our composer for this game is Oscar Araujo who is a Spanish composer. He is creating a very epic yet sad and melancholy score that perfectly suits the game and emotion that we are aiming for.”
