The PSP Castlevania game has shown some legs, even if the launch sales numbers may have disappointed Konami. Discounts have been common for the game, though. I remember a few months ago, it could be had used at Gamestop for under $10. Now, you can get a brand new copy of the Greatest Hits version at Amazon for $16.09. Of course, you’d have to throw some other things into your cart in order to earn the coveted “free shipping,” which makes this a bit less of a deal. I mean, once you’ve paid shipping, it’s pretty much full retail, which means it’s no longer a good price.
At any rate, if you don’t have the game, you should pick it up. In my opinion, it’s the best value on the PSP, with three games to play: Rondo of Blood for PC-Engine, the remade Rondo of Blood with the flashy graphics, and a kind of “director’s cut” of Symphony of the Night with improved localization and voice acting.

I wish they would port this to the PS2
The PS2 is a dead platform. The PSP is a good choice to port 2 because you can connect it to a TV if you want to play on a bigger screen.
You know, before I bought a PSP, those cables were on clearance at Target. Now I don't see them anywhere. I wish I'd picked one up, specifically for this game.
I bought the PSP because of this game, I like the game but there really are not that many other PSP games out there that I want. They already ported several PSP games to the PS2 like Silent Hill Origins and those PSP Grand Theft Auto games. I do have the cords to play the PSP on the TV, but it does not take up the entire screen. PS2 is not dead yet, mainly because the PS3 is so expensive. There are still a lot of PS2 games coming out this quarter, including a Silent Hill remake. Also I noticed that several games that are made for the PS3 & Xbox 360 also make a PS2 version still. I switched to Xbox 360 instead of PS3 for this current generation because of the price difference, and I dont need a BluRay. I am glad that Castlevania: Lords of Shadow is also going to be on the Xbox.
