A search of ESRB ratings for Symphony of the Night surprised me when it turned up these two matches. While the first listing must be the PSN release of the game, the second listing appears to apply not only to the XBLA edition of the game, but also the original PlayStation game and, here’s the kicker, a version for Windows PCs. Did this game come out for Windows at some point?
A search at GameTap doesn’t turn up any surprises. The service still offers just the first three NES games and Bloodlines. There are no Castlevania games on Steam. I’m going to assume either Konami planned to release it and then changed their mind, or they’re just keeping their options open for the future. Any ideas?
