For the first issue of Super Complete, I’ve chosen to begin at what most consider the beginning: the original Castlevania for NES. This is one of the most interesting games with respect to collecting, because of the number of variants and the history behind the game’s production.
Castlevania had at least three variants. I’ll start by talking about the first variant, which is generally the most desirable.
